Check In & Drop Off

Check-in is located on the back side of the clubhouse. You can park on the top lot, go through though the breezeway following the walkway around the clubhouse. We'll set up a check-in table near the driving range. Please check in your kiddos each week.

Pickup

For all programs that include play, pick-up your kiddo at the practice green on the Executive Course. The Executive Course is across the street from the main clubhouse. There is a parking lot there and the practice green is the first thing you'll see from the lot.

Junior Dropoff

Please arrive 15 minutes before your clinic time. Registration tables will be setup on the backside of the clubhouse by the putting green. All children must be signed in by an adult or guardian.

Beginner, Intermediate 1 &2, Advanced Programs

The playing programs include 25 minutes of instruction and nine holes on the Executive Course. This typically takes 2.5 hours.

SNAG & Intro Programs

The non-playing programs (SNAG and Intro) are 30 minutes and many parents take a breather or relax under the shade of a tree while their kiddo is in the clinic.

4-Hole Programs

The 4-Hole program typically takes 1 hour.

Junior Dropoff

Yes, all junior classes are supervised by our Junior golf staff on the golf courses. The size of the class and age level dictates our number of staff per group. We typically staff one or two supervisors per clinic to walk the kids to the course, and monitor two-three holes of play at the time. This means our juniors are watched but we can't hand-hold or become their caddies. Safety is our first and foremost concern. Fun comes next and we want to kids to enjoy the game with their friends to foster our Junior Golfers' love for the game of Golf!

Golf clubs, a golf ball or two, tees, tennis shoes, sunscreen applied, water bottle.

Need Clubs?

If your kiddo needs clubs or you aren't quite sure if their set is right for them, we'll have a number of sizes of junior sets available for purchase with registration - the sets include clubs and a carry bag. You can see the sets and order online here.

Maybe... IF there is a clinic at another time/day within the week AND the clinic is not full - yes, you can make-up a clinic. HOWEVER we need you to provide advanced notice the week before so we can anticipate it at check-in. As a rule, we don't offer make-up sessions. We built FREE GOLF into the program because we know you're busy but we want to make sure our juniors golf to their hearts' are content.

About the Summer Golf Membership

We know your summers are busy, so we want your junior to golf when it's convenient for you. If they miss a clinic, don't worry just come out and play sometime during the week.

We include FREE GOLF for the Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced and Elite programs. The summer golf membership is valid at Applewood Hills, Gem Lake Hills and Oak Glen's Executive course during the summer (June 1st through August 31st). Applewood Hills and Gem Lake Hills have restrictions to the membership to junior-friendly times. Please make a tee time for all rounds.
